Privacy Policy — Amma Tools

This Privacy Policy applies to the suite of utility applications published by Intallaga Tech Pty Ltd, trading as Amma AI (“Amma AI”, “we”, “us”) under the “Amma” brand, including but not limited to: Amma SuperOCR, Amma Record, Amma LingoOCR, Amma Bookkeeper, Amma WordsCard, Amma Scanner, Amma WooTalk, and Amma CatMeow (collectively, “the Tools”).

This policy does not apply to Amma SAT, which has its own Privacy Policy.

1. Our Core Principle: Your Data Stays on Your Device

The Amma Tools are designed as standalone, on-device utilities. The vast majority of the Tools do not require an account, do not connect to our servers, and do not transmit your personal data to us. Your files, images, scans, recordings, notes, and other content remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export them using your device’s native sharing features.

2. Information We Collect

For most Amma Tools, we collect no personal information whatsoever. Specifically:

• No accounts or sign-up required for most Tools.
• No server-side database: we do not store your content on our servers.
• No tracking or analytics: we do not use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising trackers.
• No cookies: the Tools do not use cookies.

Limited exceptions:

• Crash reports: Apple may automatically collect anonymised crash data through its standard crash-reporting framework. This data is not personally identifiable and is used solely to improve app stability.
• App Store purchase: each Tool is a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We receive only confirmation of purchase status — never your payment details.
• Tools with optional cloud features: if a specific Tool offers optional cloud sync or account-based features, we will clearly disclose this within that Tool’s settings before any data leaves your device, and such features will always be opt-in.

3. On-Device Processing

Features such as OCR (text recognition), document scanning, voice recording, and flashcard generation are processed entirely on your device using Apple’s native frameworks (Vision, Speech, etc.). No images, audio, text, or other content is sent to external servers for processing unless a specific feature explicitly states otherwise and requires your consent.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple: one-time purchase payment is processed by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy.
• We do not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social-media SDKs into the Tools.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal data to any third party. Since we do not collect personal data for most Tools, there is nothing to share.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Amma Tools are general-purpose utilities suitable for all ages. Since the Tools do not collect personal information, they are compliant with COPPA, GDPR age requirements, and similar child-protection regulations by design.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Act, and other applicable laws, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, and portability of personal data. Because most Amma Tools do not collect or store personal data on our servers, these rights are effectively self-exercised through your device — you can view, edit, export, or delete your content at any time using standard device features.

8. Data Security

Since your data remains on your device, its security is governed by your device’s own security features (passcode, Face ID, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode.

9. International Users

The Amma Tools are available worldwide. Because we do not transfer personal data to our servers, cross-border data-transfer concerns do not typically apply. In the limited cases where a Tool offers optional cloud features, any data transfers will comply with applicable laws including GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the relevant app or our website.
